Roczen – Update

answer (1)

Ken Roczen is out of the AMA Supercross championship with a broken arm. The AMA motocross champion crashed hard while chasing down his HRC team-mate Cole Seely.

Official work from HRC is that Ken Roczen has a compound fracture right above the forearm. That isn’t good for Roczen, who now probably won’t be seen again until the Outdoor Nationals in May.

Speaking to a doctor friend this morning, he informed me this.

“Most cases of adult forearm fractures require surgery to make sure the bones are stabilized and lined up for successful healing. Bones have a remarkable capacity to heal. Forearm bones typically take 3 to 6 months to fully heal. The more severe your injury, however, the longer your recovery may be.”

Take a look at the crash of Ken Roczen. A crash that seems to have put him on the injury list. Three videos of the accident.
